Meet Autumn! She is a 7-year-old happy Rottweiler looking for a home where she can spend her remaining days. Many pups spend a long time desperately waiting in their shelters for a loving family to take them in. But unfortunately, lovely Autumn does not have so long to wait for your helping hand.
Autumn had always been an outdoor dog ever since she was with her last family. This Rottweiler, looking for a home now, had loved roaming the outdoors. But her family did not socialize the doggo properly. This lead to multiple shelters refusing her before Ramapo-Bergen found her.
She had a limp in her hind legs and the kind people of this Refuge took her to a hospital to know the cause. Sadly, it was found out that Autumn had bone cancer and would not survive too long. Autumn is on pain medication but she could always use the warmth of a loving and caring family.
Autumn is still happy and tests out her puppy-dog-eyes on potential adopters. She never fails to wag her tail when she meets humans. The Refuge is desperate to find her a nice home, even if someone is willing to foster for a couple of days at a time. Any help that you can extend would be greatly appreciated by this Rottweiler looking for a home.
We have been moved by the outpouring of care for our lovely Autumn. Getting to know her we have all fallen in love with…
